Product Owner for Clinical Decision Support Software (m/f/d)

This position combines software specifications, UI, and UX work – if you are interested in working as product owner of a scrum team creating software products that improve patient’s lives, you are welcome at Molecular Health.

Your tasks

Work as product owner in cross-functional scrum teams, you will drive the customer-focused prioritization, specification, and implementation of features in our innovative clinical decision support software for oncology – MH Guide.

• Take the scrum product owner role in an agile development environment
• Manage, prioritize, and groom the product backlog of a medical device software
• Set sprint goals for our scrum
• Break down prioritized EPICs from product managers into user stories for development.
  – Write clear and concise requirements, incl. UI/UX wireframes and mock-ups
  – Align the requirements with internal stakeholders and/or key customers
  – Refine of user story with the scrum team
• Closely work with the scrum teams to implement features meeting our customers’ requirements

Your skills and qualifications

• PhD or Master in genetics, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or similar areas
• Ability to describe and communicate complex requirements clearly and accurately
• Enthusiastic and able to work independently
• Well organized, with the ability to handle multiple deliverables within tight schedules
• Excellent English communication skills

Ideally, you may also have one or more of these skills

• Hands-on experience with NGS data analysis and genomics
• Basic programming and SQL experience
• Experience with HL7/FHIR
• Experience with LIMS and/or HER systems
• Experience with scrum and software development processes
• Work experience in regulated environments
