For our company headquarters in Heidelberg, we are looking for a life scientist specialized in molecular diagnostics or oncology (molecular biologist, biomedical scientist) with immediate effect.

Life Scientist as Application Specialist for clinical decision support software (m/f/d)

As a member of the Customer Success Team at Molecular Health, your focus is on scientific advice and specialist support for the use of our MH Guide software.

Your tasks in detail:

• Provide demo and training sessions for our software MH Guide to support a treatment decision for cancer patients with international customer accounts
• Responding to scientific inquiries from pathologists, oncologists and laboratory partners using MH Guide in the laboratory or molecular tumor board
• Technical support of business development and sales in discussions with experts (customer appointments, conferences, symposiums)
• Comprehensive internal management of customer feedback in close coordination with the specialist departments (e.g., marketing, quality management, development, IT)
• Support for the further development of our software tool in close cooperation with colleagues in product management and product development

Your profile:

• University degree, ideally with a doctorate in biomedical sciences
• Expertise in the areas of molecular cell biology and genetics
• Ideally knowledge in the field of oncology: Mechanisms of action of drugs, biomarkers and disease mechanisms
• A good technical understanding in next generation sequencing, corresponding data processing and experience with software-based analysis methods (ideally hands-on experience)
• Experience in presenting and communicating scientific content and in writing scientific texts
• Fluent in German and English
• Very good work organization and independent, structured work
• Willingness to travel at home and abroad (approx. 30% of the working time)
